Hello, It's Me Again!

Hi Guys! It's been awhile. Just a little recap since my last post: I completed the half marathon I trained for. It was not the best time but I finished and that was my main goal. I honestly didn't feel the race needed a recap since I knew what the outcome was going to be. I've ran this race over 10 times and it still ranks as one of my favorites. I'll be doing it again next year and I'll hopefully be gunning for a PR.

Life over here is full of love and laughter with our little one. She is hitting all her milestones and she is truly at such a fun stage. Although I love seeing her grow, it also makes me sad that she is growing too fast. I wish I could stop time for a bit so instead I'm trying to treasure all the moments.

I am back to working my two jobs (maternity leave officially over) and trying to find time to squeeze in some workouts here and there but that's been tough. Since the race I can probably count with one hand how many times I've actually ran. Instead I've been using Kayla Itsines Sweat app. Her workouts are tough and short (28 minutes) which is perfect with a baby. I am trying to gain back muscle I lost during the pregnancy but it's taking a bit longer than I thought it would. Oh well! The struggles with my postpartum body!
